Player Development Programme
- Shenley Scorpions take the development of all our players very seriously and are committed to making training sessions both fun and challenging for all players regardless of ability.
- All our coaches are qualified and registered with England Basketball and fully CRB checked.
- All Shenley Scorpions players are encouraged to participate regularly for the club in the Bucks Basketball League.
- Particularly talented and gifted Shenley Scorpions players will be encouraged by the coaching staff to attend try-outs for the MK Trojans National League squads.
- Players with exceptional potential will be recommended to Buckinghamshire County and South of England selections. From here they will have the opportunity to train with the South APC (Area Performance Centre) which tour regularly and ultimately the England National Team if their performance is exceptional.
- Shenley Scorpions coaching staff can recommend the most promising players to the Bristol Academy Flyers programme, one of the top basketball academies in the country.
- Shenley Scorpions players have represented and continue to represent the Buckinghamshire, the South of England, the South West APC and the England U16 National Team.
