With their first fixture of the day against Stevenage forfeited by their opponents the Shenley Scorpions U12 Mixed team achieved their first league win this season!

After a jittery start on their first match day, and several training sessions to practice and improve since, the U12 Mixed team faced AGS Hornets today. Unfortunately they were deducted 5 points due to not fielding a full squad of 10 players but from the start it was clear that improvement had been made from their last fixtures. The team had far fewer turnovers and far more attempts at the basket as a result. There was a lot more organisation on offense and more effort shown on defense and, while they are still learning, the court spacing and movement without the ball also showed  improvement. It is still early days but the future is looking bright for the team.
